PKK 08

I'm just back from Project Khon Kaen and Im bored already. It's so odd to wake up after noon, and have nothing much to do. I guess, Im just not too used to having too much time on my hands, and just completely bumming around.

Either way, PKK 08 went really well, and Im glad that this was what i chose to burn my summer on.

Working with stef was awesome, I dont think I would be able to take those pre- trip insanity if not for her. Her brain is just one huge mac- calculating budgets, dealing with external organisations and churning up proposals and ideas simultaneously.

And if there was anything that I would miss loads, it would be the team. It seemed that all those worries about team dynamics and what not was so totally unnecessary. The team worked so well together (too well, in fact, for some people ;) haha.), everyone looked out for one another and no one slacked around and did nothing.
It was nice hanging out with limin again- after years of minimal contact, it was still back to being yearmates as we were in the past. And there was baby mark and zhien, people/ SO members who made this trip worthwhile if there was nothing else already (though of course there was). And feera, my thai porn mate (Honey, Di chan kao pai dai mai?) and groupmate whom I pretty much have love-hate relationship with (Kui kup mer kon chan). Alf, who is so calming to talk to and who (behind his cool exterior) is actually really sentimental and sweet. Plus, he loves food too, and is supposedly as real good haggler (though i think its more because he is lor than anything else. its was absolutely stunning/ shocking how all those thai girls were swooning after him and snapping at him non- stop).
All in all, it was a good team, and Im missing them already. Im just hoping that, there would be a chance for everyone to meet up again, or to keep in touch.

As for the trip, it was really good, but Im feeling rather lazy at the moment, and I shall just post up the link when the video is uploaded onto youtube. And I dont have any photos, cos my camera died when it was dropped, and now I just have to wait for photos from Feera's cool SLR.

Meanwhile, Im craving for more mango sticky rice.
