Yet another week.

I'm currently involved in this self-initiated CIP project that aims to bring youths from different backgrounds tgt and to understand each other better called Tripod. They had a meeting at my place on Monday, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Kezia around (though it took me sometime to put her face to her name). And there is this interesting guy (or should i say only guy) on the team called Junghans, and he drove a Mercs to my place -_-" that is like how scary. He happens to be the Welfare Chair of RJ Council from my batch. Interesting.

Last Saturday, dj and I decided to give Pat and nice visit at his pet shop. We bought him this box from NTUC that had many smaller boxes in it (box-in-a-box), filled it up with candy and handed his thankyou cum happy bday cum merry xmas cum happy anniversary presents to him. The following are pics of dj and the pets and one of them with Pat in it. I tried to make myself useful by going around and cleaning up the poopoo of the chinchillas and rabbits. Afterall, I am extremely terrified of furry animals. But I have to admit they are cute though (:

HCSC INVESTITURE (REHEARSAL) 2007

Invest Rehearsals- The 33rd doing their batch song.

Sharm and Chernwei doing their speech.

See Guotong (front row extreme right/ left from our POV)- she's the model councillor of her batch (: and she's from RGS.

Batch Item rehearsals

Stef doing slavework for Chow >_<

Another week has passed, one last week of work in HC. I think I kinda need a break after this whole hectic month. But this week has been interesting. Watched the investiture of the 34th and brought back wonderful memories. One of the jnr councillors, i suspect, is wongki's brother. looks qte like her, very cute. ahah. And then Dance Night in the evening with Stef. Sharan, Hing and Michwang came as well but didnt really have the chance to catch up much with them.

Taking leave on Monday to collect my passport, mail things out to UCL (i think im prbly going there since I suspect NUS hates me :( ) and meet up with someone from SouthEast CDC to discuss their possible supporting of the CIP project I'm in. Wish me luck!

Working after Work.

It's unfair that erns has a celebrity friend. I want one too >_< where can i go to find one? (wuzun would be nice, so would joonie)

I was just surfing the sites for UCL's Intercalated BSc Programmes and now I am really inclined to go UCL. Just not too long ago, I was still thinking of NUS and now I am completely swayed towards UCL again. I just cant make up my mind. UCL looks so exciting and full of opportunities, and yet I would love to stay in Singapore for my family and my granddad isnt too happy about me going to UK, plus it's going to be quite financially taxing for an overseas education after all :(

Bought my mum a Swatch Watch for Mother's Day. It is the single most expensive thing that i have invested in since I started working. Decided against getting a diamond pendant for her cos its really no point buying a cheapo one that is affordable but ugly. I would rather get a nice watch for her (:

Work has been really busy and I have been working unpaid OT non-stop and also at home (like now .. just that I am taking a break and slacking to recharge). Going to watch council invest/ stepping down rehearsals tmr with Stef. Meeting her for breakfast at Adam as well. After that, I would have 2 tuition (only!), and my night off to work on work again :( and that just reminds me that I would have to scan Kaix the physics paper to help me with, and email Zach my prom sponsorship stuff plus send out my Criminal Record Check to UCL. Loads of things to do .. backlog!

Life is now all about work and tuition (which is work too), solving qns at home for work, and arranging tuition with my students after their lessons. But at least now mid-years are over, and that means that I dont have 3 tuition going on simultaneously >_<

Shall go off to bed now. I still have yet to watch Spiderman 3 and I would love to watch Priceless too. TV Mobile gave it a pretty good review. But i need a light hearted comedy now!
Havent seen the losers for ages. Plus pangsai. Maybe its time to give them a call to arrange an outing soon! (:

Work was quite hectic again as usual, although chow was away for attachment. so i ended up helping stef with her bio workload, and finishing the CCA stuff for Ms Chen. And now I truly understood how irritated the PE dept must have been when we started submitting wierd achievements to be included, since I'm now the only entering these details into the system for the J2 cohort. Irritate me and I would label you as useless in your CCA .. heh.

Chow came back in the late noon and that means increased workload. Had to solve a couple of physics questions and come up with the worked solutions, hopefully I havent forgotten my stuff. But ended up slacking abit after that cos I went for a short break in the staff lounge with Stef that lasted for more than an hour, chatting with mr ngoi (the new council SnR teacher), mr rem (he's one horny obscene guy .. that I never knew) and ms wang. We were stuffing ourselves with the Secret Recipe Banana Choc cake that Ms Wang brought, and also Dilmah tea and oranges (cos its fruits day and the staff got free oranges).

Had tuition lessons after that at clementi and was feeling too lazy (plus i lounged too much and was late for lesson already), and decided to cab to lesson. I'm getting more and more pampered and bratty :( Rushed home after that lesson cos had another one waiting for me at home and it just ended at 11pm. Now, I'm solving Physics questions for my sec2 student. And I'm having an extended lesson with her tmr.
Talk about being exploited :(

Work work work!

Random pictures that I snapped ... including the physics texts that I had to refer to while working for Chow. He exploits me, and I work OT for him plus complete stuff at home for him. I think i'm literally a PA already >_< hehe. and this is on top of the at least 2 a night tuition :( yesterday, i actually felt like killing some of my students.

It's late now and I need my beauty sleep, shall update about my students the next time. And maybe post some pics of my students if possible. Esp this really pretty boy called Darius. HEHE.

This manga caught my attention in Kino caused its names after Karin ... and it's soft porn ;)

I'm still perpetually hungry, its just that my flu bug and hectic workload has forced me to go on a diet. I skip dinner cos I do not have time for it. How sad is it?
In fact, i had my dinner today at 10.30pm. exactly 11h after my (early) lunch.

Tank's School Concert at HC's Audi. I really dont understand why he chose HC in the first place, when i think he would have had a much better crowd in NUS (: But i went for it anyway (out of curiousity) with prisc (she really looks really sad in her the first picture doesnt she). But that is how she is ... sad. Queen of Losers, what can you expect? Only the best ehs :)
My brother has been going on about how pretty Pei Fen is ever since the concert, well i wouldnt deny though. But besides that, I think Tank has a fantastic voice. He hardly screwed the concert despite the lousy audience and PA system :)

As you guys probably can tell, I'm uploading all the photos that I should have done eons ago all at one shot (:

I really like my Nokia E65.

Labour Day Pictures (:

Pictures taken on May Day/ Labour Day. The day where nobody works, unless its to get OT pay. Met up with Babe and Ong for lunch at KFC and had the new meltz meal, it was yummy but ugly. Then met up with the councillors for dinner, though only the girls were left cos the boys had to book in early. And thats why i missed my xiaoxiao :(

Shagged!

Lesson for my Sec 4 Physics students at my place just ended at close to eleven, and it was after a full day of tuition that ranged from pri 1 kids to sec4 Chem as well. But the again, its the kids exam period and its not really daily that i am so busy. But mainly feeling guilty that i pangsei-ed my cousin (whom im supposed to tutor) on friday cos Chow made me stay in late to edit the minutes that I took for the meeting that I sat in to discuss about the MOE's School Cockpit system and the HCI school portal system. It was rather interesting though, listening to how certain things worked in MOE, and in schools as well. And listening to both of the parties boast abt how impressive they system can potentially be. Left school at 6plus in a hurry, and had to catch a cab to tuition at Bkt Panjang after that. Got a little flustered and hot-tempered after that, and I nearly almost raised my voice at one of my kids who just couldnt understand algebra equations after teaching him for so long. thank god his brother was smarter, though less obedient and more cheeky, but easier to teach anyway.

Watched Tank's school concert in HC with Prisc on thursday and i will try to post up the pics i took asap. He's a really talented singer with a nice voicebox, though i would say that the crowd was anything but fantastic. Well, I was one of those lousy audience .. hardly clapping and not screaming at all. The girl beside me was one of the contestants who went up and my brother thought she screeched like a cat that has its tail burnt ... and most of the audience were sniggering when she sang anyway. Really quite sad ... and when Tank threw his posters in our general direction she fought for it like it was a million bucks (or more) and nearly toppled the camera. it was sadly amusing, in my opinion.

A sadly full day of tuition for me tmr, that starts at 8.30am at bkt panjang (damnit). that jus means i have to be up by 7am :( this is terrible. and lessons potentially till 11pm. i lead a sad life.

Mother's Day is coming and so is darling Ern's b'day.
I think i kinda miss ernie-ku and huien-lump.

Photos from loser outing

Super backdated pics from loser outing at PS that was taken eons ago (31st March hehe).

Me and Prisc

Me and Prisc (again)

YUCKS. the monkey. acting cute.

LOSERS. monkey and lily showing that they are proud of their identity at spotlight.

Again. they just have to emphasize it.

With Prisc. the queen of LOSERS. (now that huien is in aust)

They look better like that dont they? at least most of their face is covered. *thank god!*

EEKS. i thought i saw a .. ghost!

kbox @ Marina

my hubby, zun (:

that's me kissing my hubby. i think i'm getting a little delusional, i think its the long working hours. and hours of talking to kids thats making me a bit off.

SHE! (it's interesting how they can act cute and get away with it by looking really cute) i admit im a converted fan.

FAHRENHEIT! (without the not-too-gdlooking one)

I'm biased again.

This is some snack that my student treated me to, from Japan. and it's really yummy. Erns, if u do see this can u help me get it? i'll pay u back.

Me and Sharan attempting to take pics in KBOX @ Marina.

Yinchu's phototaking skills, he growing older obviously didnt help much.

Yinchu has improved.

Chinswee and Hing attempting an Andy Lau song, and trying to look like they were dumped too. *they've gotta try harder though*

It was my first break in ages yesterday, cos i have been working night and day (and it's killing me :( ). Went to kbox at Marina Square to celebrate Yinchu's 21st B'day and it was really nice seeing all the sevenD people again (: Didnt really sing much till sharan came and i got a little highh. oopsey. she's my liquor babe. and a cool one that is, you tell me how many indians who dont understand chinese can sing biao bai by elva hsiao. It was loads of fun, and i was pleasantly surprised to see that hochinswee and sharan came too. they are always MIA-ing.

Cheegake and Crys were nice enough to bring me some of the cookies they baked that i'm going to pass off as my own and offer to my colleagues tmr (: hehe. They would be surprised that peishan can actually bake so well.

Another break today, though i only found out this morning (after waking up at seven plus) that i dont have work today cos it's HC sports day, so i'll be staying at home till late noon when i've tuition ... again. And now, i'm actually prepping notes for my students.

I swear i'm a slave for my students.

HAPPY (BELATED) 21ST B'DAY YINCHU!
