My room is in a big mess, it looks like a typhoon ran through it. And probably worse. The only part of it that is presentable is the area where i sleep, 'cos ron is looking down on my bed and i have to make it nice for him. And speaking of which, it isnt all that neat either, just comparatively better than the rest. Everything is relative anyway.
I am in a mess too. I woke up late, like 9.05am for 9am lecture for 2 days straight. And i hope this will not be the start of my not-going-for-lessons on time. I have to find the discipline back :( And a better alarm clock than my konky phone. And yes, my phone is messed up too, it sends out 3 msgs each time I send or doesnt send it out at all. So helpful (: Word of advice: E65 is really unstable, so if you can help it, get another model. Or better, get an asian brand of phone, probably more reliable, with reason.
I'm getting fat cos tests are coming up and its like I becoming some sort of rat. I cannot stop chewing when I'm trying to read. And sometimes, i chew when i am not reading. Which is bad :( I miss my self-discipline!
And yes, the tests are driving me nuts too. I have to admit that I have alot lower tolerance level than NUS/Cambridge kids, and mugging too hard drives me nuts. I cant wait for the break to come and visit Stef!! ((: At least i have something to look forward to (: Cheers to that! <3
Missing Singapore!
And london is getting ALOT colder. I need some sun ... or a Hiro to stop time for me.
Heroes <3 where is mine?

Dj's in Town!
I havent really had the mood to actually update my blog for the past few weeks, ever since I touched down in London. I guess its inertia to start writing.
Dj came to visit me from York yesterday, and we visited Tate Modern with some LSE friends, after which we headed to Bankside Hall (an LSE hall of residence). It was pretty amusing meeting those LSE people 'cos that particular hall wasnt catered (they had to pay extra for meals), so most of the scrimped and saved, which resulted in them having rather sad meals, leaving them perpetually hungry and weight loss. So, i shall not complain about my bad hall food anymore (but i have no idea why, but im starting to find hall food more and more decent. or maybe i have just accustomed myself to the food here.) At least, eating in hall helps me save quite a bit of money ((:
We visited Covent Garden in the morning today, and headed off to Leicester Square (Chinatown), to have lunch at Four Seasons. Dj agrees that the duck is over-rated. But is was still nice food. I finally got my soya sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and thai fragrant rice which i was lugging all around after that (now my shoulder is aching qte badly). I loved covent garden, its like a nice quaint little place that sold interesting stuff and had street performers lining the street. We spent quite a bit of time strolling around, and enjoying the atmosphere around us. It made me really happy ((: No wonder fengfeng loves that place best.
After lunch, we went down to St Paul's to meet JinPeng, and we were really pretty late :( And unfortunately, by the time we reached, it was too late to enter ('cos i thought it closed at 4.30pm but it was actually 3.30pm). So its like my 2nd time to St Paul's and yet, have been denied entry. So we hung around the outside, taking silly shots but it was great fun anyhow. I love going on such relaxed tourings. (: Hopefully, i would be able to find people here who likes to do such stuff as well!
School has started for 2 weeks, though official lessons only for 1. It hasnt been too busy, and its rather surprising cos my timetable seems to be less packed than the engineers (which is odd.. but a relief to me). Exams for this module are coming up pretty soon, and i hope it wont be too hard, cos im planning to head down to cambridge after that for a short trip, and i wont feel too good if i know that i messed up my exams. Cross my fingers and hope that my brain hasnt rusted!
Tried hockey the other day, and decided that an outdoor sport is just too cold for me. And had rock climbing as well, and it was great fun, just that its really expensive. 12pounds to register. And 4 pounds for transport there and back. In the long run, its going to make me bankrupt, so im just playing around for now and deciding if i should actually commit myself. And rock climbing here is really different from singapore, 'cos most of the rock walls didnt have ropes, so you just climb up and jump down onto the crash mat after that. Interesting eh? I wonder if anyone has broken a rib or leg whilst doing it?
Missing Singapore and everyone back there. (The food too, of course!) But dj's visit to town is making me alot happier, so im loving London. Especially the weather... and dreading winter!
