Ron's in London!~

I'm enjoying London thus far, the weather is great, my hall is satisfactory, and I havent met with any mishaps thus far, so I'm trying to remain as positive as I can be! (: I've yet to meet all my hallmates, but most of them seem pretty friendly. There's even one or two cute guys around to brighten up my day (:

I've no idea whether if my body clock is messing up but I'm going to bed at 10pm and waking up at about 6.30-7am, and I cant seem to be able to fall asleep anymore. I have no idea if this is healthy living, or that I'm messed up. OR maybe my late sleeping in singapore has gotten me used to London time. Either way, I'm happy with it now, but I think would need to stay up late for mugging in time to come.

Hall food has been not too fantastic, but edible and cos its free hence I dont miss a single meal in here. I'm perpetually hungry though, but lunch is usually sandwich or pizza or the cheapest thing we can find. ('Cos we are Singaporeans and cant stop converting, hence everything here is absurdly expensive.)
1 sandwich= GBP1.5= SGD4.5 approx (horrors!)

I've posted up pictures on facebook, 'cos I'm kinda lazy to upload it here (blogger takes forever).

London, here i come :(

I'm leaving for London tonight, armed with 2 huge luggages that are going to weigh more than 50kg in all :(

Suddenly, I'm wishing that I dont have to go somewhere so far .. and so expensive >_<
Its remarkable that someone who's wishing for freedom would be feeling apprehensive, and not excited at all. But at least, I like the fact that I've been treated like a princess these few days (: Thanks to everyone who has been so terribly nice to me, I'm going to miss EVERYONE here. See you all again .. next year!

Movie Marathon!

I have never watched so many movies in a span of 1 week. And the movies i have watched these few days (and still counting) are:

1. 881: Exceeded my expectations totally. It was brilliant! Roystan Tan has done magic. The hokkien songs were surprisingly melodious, the actresses hot and acted amazingly well. Though dramatic, but I still like the whole feel of it. Isnt getai all about drama and exaggeration anyway?
4 Thumbs up (:

2. Hairspray: Many people gave this show amazing reviews (including garry), though I thought otherwise. I personally preferred 881, thought it had a better plot, and more interesting songs, and better looking actresses. Of course, the male protagonist was a great bonus and Penny was gorgeous and hot, the dresses were pretty, but i'm still a singaporean girl at heart. So, our local getai mei-s and their yi ren yi ban over Good Morning Baltimore!
3.5 Thumbs up (:

3. Bourne Ultimatium: Matt Damon has done it again. He has managed to look delicious even though he is caked with blood, has a broken nose, limp limbs and a perpetual raised-eye sarcastic look. It made me dizzy with all the "shaky camera" shots to imitate chaos and fight, but guess it was necessary since it was a thriller. It was a good 3rd part to the bourne trilogy, unlike Matrix who kinda went down after some time.
3.5 thumbs up (:

4. Ratatouille: What more can I say, Pixar has done it again!! Now, i want a rat, like how Ron had one too. And i loved the way the character in the show reminded me of Ron. I love anything that reminds me of Ron, of course, it helped that the Rat was called Remy. And Remys are generally cute ;)
4 Thumbs up (:
